Who is responsible for your data?

What do we collect?

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the service you need and your message. Live chat collects what you type and the details you give in the chat form. If you accept analytics cookies, we collect anonymised usage data about pages visited.

Why do we use it?

To respond to your enquiry, arrange an engineer visit, provide a quote and carry out the work you request (legitimate interests and steps prior to entering a contract). Analytics data is used only with your consent, to improve the website.

Who do we share it with?

With the shutter engineer or company that quotes for and carries out your job, and with service providers who help run this website: Web3Forms (form delivery), Tawk.to (live chat), Netlify (hosting) and, if you consent, Google Analytics. We do not sell your data.

How long do we keep it?

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Records linked to completed work are kept for up to 6 years for tax and warranty purposes.

Cookies

Analytics cookies are off by default and only set if you choose Accept. Your choice is stored in your browser and you can change it by clearing site data. The live chat widget sets cookies needed to keep a chat session running.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to processing or withdraw consent at any time by emailing us. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
